Trust

I was terrified of the future, of what my life was going to look like. Would I be able to do it alone? I wanted to know what the next step was, that what I was doing was going to work. I wanted assurance that I was going to be okay, but that’s not something any of us can have. None of us knows the future. The bottom line is that we don’t know what is coming next, when it’s coming or how it will arrive. And what was even more terrifying to me than the unknown was the thought of staying stuck. So I had to trust.

We all have to trust. Trust that we are doing the work that needs to be done. Trust that we are exactly where we need to be. Trust that everything is going to be okay.

Trust is the one intent that has challenged me most. I strive every day to trust in my path. I try to listen to and trust the deepest part of me. I try to trust with love, strength, courage, gratitude, forgiveness, and truth.

Someone once said that FEAR stands for False Evidence Appearing Real. I try to take the focus off of my fears and direct it toward trusting in my path.

Trust in your path.

Trust that you are on your journey for a reason.
