Celebrate

Victories small and large deserve to be celebrated. Acknowledgment is critical to foster pride and set the standard for loving yourself. Filling yourself with pride will accelerate your momentum and fuel your progress of moving forward.

Acknowledgment is critical to foster pride and set the standard for loving yourself. Celebrating your wins… honors yourself and acknowledges the efforts put forth. Not ot mention that it (should) Fill you with pride… which will accelerate your momentum… and fuel your progress of moving forward. But remember… when you fail (or perceive that you fail)…

Every step is your next step forward

Please see everything as necessary steps to move you forward. The good feel good and the bad feel bad. But when you take the bad and flip it to good, what happens is magical. Because the bad are the warning signs and harsh lessons needed to move you back on track.

Trust the path

One example, April 23, 2016, I attended a writer’s conference to pitch the Trust the Path manuscript. I booked a 10-minute pitch session with an agent/publisher that I (thought) really wanted to work with. I thought I was ready. I had prepared, practiced. I had my head in the right place. But it was exactly the opposite of what I had hoped for. His feedback was brutally harsh. I was angry and hurt. But once the tears dried I could see the hurt and disappointment as an opportunity to better my pitch and actually change how I position the book. Yet again a perceived failure was another way to push me and make it and me better. Sometimes failure is actually fuel in disguise.
